I pledge allegiance...

I'm old enough to have fond memories of watching the Red Skelton Show as a child. He was a funny, funny man, yet endearing when he was serious. If you've not seen this before, it's worth the watch.

I remember his show too. We must be close in age!

I had the great privilege of seeing Red Skelton perform in person!

Thank you for that.

I loved the Red Skelton Show when I was a kid. His character, Clem Kadiddlehopper, was my favorite. This clip you shared is excellent--a serious side of a very funny man.

It's been awhile since I've seen that clip. I had forgotten about it. Very neat!

I remember his show very well. He's one of my all time favorites.

My dh met him when we lived in Palm Springs. Very nice, kind man.

We have some videos of his work.
There's a movie that I LOVE of his...with he and Fred Astair "Three Little Words". Gotta find it and ENJOY!
